Charitable donation
It is traditional in many countries, including the UK, to send greetings cards at this time of year. As in previous years, we have taken the decision this year to communicate our best wishes and seasonal greetings to you via this e-newsletter and to make a donation to a worthwhile charity instead of sending paper cards.
This year our chosen charity is very close to the heart of the FICL team: Caudwell Children.
Caudwell Children continues to transform the lives of sick and disabled children across the UK. Amongst its many projects, the charity provides specialist equipment and wheelchairs, innovative and pioneering therapy programmes, and funds holidays of a lifetime for terminally ill children and their families.
We are proud to support the excellent work undertaken by Caudwell Children and wish the charity continued success in all its projects.
2010 Review
Despite the challenging economic conditions around the globe in 2010, FICL has worked hard to achieve another year of significant growth. This growth has enabled us to invest in the factory to increase capacity and bolster key Technical and Sales resources. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have worked with us in 2010 to make this possible. You can remain assured of our commitment to reinvesting in the business so that we can continue to offer you the best products and service ongoing.
We look forward to working with you to make 2011 even more successful.
2011 Exhibitions
FICL will continue to support marketing efforts in 2011 by exhibiting at major trade shows around the globe. This year, we will be promoting our product range at the Aquatech exhibitions in India, USA, China and Europe:

The FICL Team:
We have strengthened the FICL team in 2010 with new appointments and new responsibilities for some of our most experienced members of staff.
Joy Delaney took on full responsibility for FICL’s Technical team in the newly combined role of Technical and Product Development Manager. Joy has worked at FICL for thirteen years in technical and product development roles.
Mark Johnson has taken on full responsibility for the factory in the role of Manufacturing Manager. Mark has over twenty years experience at FICL in both technical and manufacturing roles.
Nigel Walley joined as Sales Executive. Nigel has worked in sales for thirty years and the filtration industry for the last eleven years.
Julie Dolman joined as Senior Technologist. Julie is a graduate in ceramics with over fifteen years experience in the ceramics industry.
John Powell joined as Engineer. John is a mechanical engineer with twenty five years experience in the domestic appliance market.
